Sepia tone photograph measures 9"x11" exhibiting breathtaking original clarity and contrast with fine depth to the image. Superb Charles Comiskey large format photograph c.1920s. Includes letter of provenance from the family and a custom made shadow box display case: EX-MT Canes were among the most highly regarded presentational items of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with the offered example relating to one of the most prominent names in baseball history. The very bottom of the cane is missing its protective metal sheath. The cane itself remains in fine overall condition with minimal wear to the gold handle. Intaglio engraved "CC" initials for Comiskey are found on the end panel of the cane handle.
